Elite touch players should train smart. Gone are the days when we thought getting fit for touch involved long distance runs for weeks on end. Thanks to the help of GPS research conducted by Touch Australia a few years back, CV training has become a lot more specific. So, instead of running ten 400s (or heaven forbid longer distances) we should be running four hundred 10s! (Well, not quite, but you get the idea).
